During Term 1 in Year 10 German, our class focused on learning about specific aspects of 'typical 'German culture, specifically music, sport and food. To celebrate the food aspect, we ended the term by baking some traditional German biscuits—Lebkuchen and Vanillekipferl. Students read through the recipes in German, mixed the ingredients, baked and decorated the biscuits all in one lesson. They then enjoyed eating their culinary creations. Guten Appetit!
