This position requires the capacity to teach within the framework of the IB Primary Years Programme and the Australian Curriculum. Working collaboratively with year level teams and single subject teachers will be central to the role in the Primary School.

The teacher鈥檚 priority is to ensure that learning and teaching encourages student engagement and is carried out within the context of the Mission, Vision and Values of 榴莲视频直播, including the Christian foundations of the College. Demonstrated ability to collaboratively design and implement authentic concept driven units of work which encourage inquiry are essential to this position. The teacher will encourage a positive and interesting learning environment which supports students to flourish and extend themselves.

The successful applicant will be employed to work as a Classroom teacher taking responsibility for the provision of the Year 5 / 6 learning program, whilst working collaboratively with other staff. Teachers need to demonstrate their understanding and ability to ensure that student鈥檚 learning needs are catered for within the classroom. An understanding of Restorative Practice would be an advantage.

The teacher will be expected to work cooperatively with other staff members and the community.

IT Operations Lead
Continuing, full-time
Commencing as soon as possible

The IT Operations Lead, who reports to the Director of Information & Learning Technologies, oversees evaluating, setting up, and maintaining the server and application infrastructure that supports the ICT needs and helps the school achieve its learning and teaching goals.

The IT Operations Lead is responsible for the proficient management of the Service Desk operations. The IT Operations Lead will provide reliable and helpful customer service, which is forward-thinking, collaborative, and trustworthy by understanding user requirements and building good relationships with staff, students and parents. This position will work with clients on the evaluation, creation and use of new technology that supports the school鈥檚 learning and teaching goals.

Collaborating closely with the Director of Information & Learning Technologies, the Lead is tasked with ensuring that the school's computing infrastructure is implemented with an emphasis on high availability, robust security, and user accessibility. The role demands excellent communication skills to effectively support both staff and students in utilising ICT resources, fostering skill development, and providing expert technical resolution within the school community.

Administration Assistant 鈥 ELC - Highgate
Continuing, part-time - 30 hours per week for 41 weeks per year
Commencing as soon as practicable

The Administration Assistant will support the teaching and leadership team to provide outstanding care to children aged three to five years and their parents/caregivers.

As the first point of contact, the Administration Assistant will be expected to represent the ELC in a friendly and professional manner.

Nurturing positive relationships with children, families and colleagues is a priority.

The Administration Assistant will manage the operations of the ELC office with direction from the ELC Leadership Team. Familiarity with office/admin systems is essential.

Experience in an early years or school setting is an advantage. An ACECQA approved qualification in Early Education and Care is an advantage but not essential.

STEM teacher Reception 鈥 Year 6 (Specialist Subject Teacher) - Highgate
Fixed-term, part-time 0.6 FTE
Monday 22 July 2024 鈥 Friday 11 April 2025 (Term 3 2024 鈥 end of Term 1 2025)

This position is for a knowledgeable, dedicated and passionate Reception 鈥 Year 6 STEM teacher.

The position requires the capacity to teach Reception 鈥 Year 6 and knowledge of the Australian Curriculum will be important in this role. Familiarity with the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme would be advantageous.

The teacher鈥檚 priority is to ensure that learning and teaching encourages student engagement and is carried out within the context of the Mission, Vision and Values of the College.

The ability to design and implement authentic concept driven units of work which encourage inquiry is essential to this position.

The successful applicant will have knowledge of Science, Mathematics, Design Technologies, Digital Technologies and Information and Communication Technology.

Knowledge and understanding of innovative learning approaches, including inquiry-based learning, is essential.

Knowledge of and skills with using iPads is essential.

Knowledge and skills in primary school level coding and robotics, including apps or hardware such as Scratch, Makers Empire, 3D Printing, Spheros and/or BeeBots would be beneficial.
