At the beginning of Term 2, the Year 8 Drama students have embarked on an engaging and rewarding journey, exploring the elements of drama through the vibrant and playful lens of children鈥檚 theatre. Applying skills in voice, movement, character and storytelling, they transformed familiar children鈥檚 books into lively performances designed to captivate a young audience. Their visit to St John鈥檚 Campus ELC and Reception classes became a highlight of this learning experience as they brought stories to life with energy, creativity and heart. The squeals of delight and wide-eyed wonder from the children reflected the success of their efforts, while our Year 8 students beamed with pride, fully embracing the joy and responsibility of performance. In that shared space of imagination and connection, they discovered the true essence of theatre: to entertain, engage and inspire.
